I've worked with many make-up artists in my career and Caroline is the Gold Standard that the others should aim for. Down-to-earth, approachable, friendly, excellent at what she does - and most astonishingly - no diva-like behaviour. At all. Ditto. Others take note.
It's always nice to see someone at the top of their game discussing what they love and this was no exception.
Max Factor's Colour Elixir Lipsticks contain green tea, shea, avocado and aloe butters and are designed to give a smoother surface to the lip thus making the colour 'pop' more.

Aimed at the woman who needs anti-ageing benefits it contains niacinamide (a big tick from me), green tea, Vitamin E and SPF15. As someone who gets her SPF from make-up only - that part is key. As my skin is still prone to breakouts I'm waiting till the colder weather to give this one a go and so will review properly further along the Autumn. It comes in 6 shades and retails at £12.99.
Both products are on counter now.

i like betwitching coral, it looks like a lovely colour, very wearable.
ReplyDeleteon a side note i was wondering if one time you could do a cheat sheet on eye creams, i use one at the moment but have been told i'm too young, or not to bother at, or they have no use. i was wondering what you think and if there are any you recommend. thank you very much :D

I wonder how high-coverage the foundation is (breakouts), and how pale it goes. It sounds fab for the SPF 15, even if I don't need the anti-aging benefits (although my frown line is only going to get worse lol).
ReplyDeleteI own the light ivory shade of this foundation. I find it very good to wear on my pale skin and although i don't need the anti-aging properties just yet - it really does make my skin look flawless. totally fab buy, i'm definately going to get the lipstick :)
ReplyDeleteI have the natural foundation, great coverage and amazing durability throughout the day in unnatural light and climate conditions.
ReplyDeleteI have had many positive comments about my skin since I have been using it.
LOve your blog and will def try these out....so who apart from Tom Ford is charging £35...go for it, I love a good rant!!!
