I've just been informed by Liberty that they will be stocking P50 as of Friday - all because of this blog!
Even more unusual they are only taking the P50 at this stage - if it's successful they will look at expanding into the full range. They have confirmed they are taking all three variations of P50.
There now. As if you needed another reason to go to Liberty.
*all other beauty brands in Liberty Beauty Hall quake in their boots*
*Just to reiterate - I have no business connections to Biologique Recherche or Liberty. No affiliates.

Amazing and they ship to Ireland :)
ReplyDeleteWow, you Skincare Queen. I may actually get to try this now!!! :)
ReplyDeleteGO you.
ReplyDeleteNow make them stock Kate Somerville.
haha, this made me laugh :D
DeleteOh I am ON. IT.
DeleteAs you were ;)
Deleteahhh nice one, another exfoliator readily available for me to try once i've finished the liquid gold!! :-D x
ReplyDeletebrilliant news! will this be available online and no just in store?? x
ReplyDeletebrilliant news! thankyou SO much. will this be available to buy online and not just in store exclusively? x
ReplyDeleteGreat news - do you know how much it will cost, and which variety do you recommend? Thanks.
ReplyDeleteTricia depends on your age and skin type. :) Unsure of the pricing - I buy the big bottles. £50 ish?
DeleteHow big is the big size? Bigger is always better value so I think I'll go with that! THANK YOU Caroline :-) you've made lots of us beauty freaks happy! Haha
DeleteThank YOU! fantastic - although funny enough I did go out and get the Clarins toner for when I feel a bit lazy to cleanse properly...
ReplyDeleteMe too! :)
DeleteHi Caroline :) do you know of a way I could get this shipped to Australia?
ReplyDeleteI've no idea if they will ship that far - prob best to wait until Friday?
DeleteYes good idea! If I can't get it, what would be the next best alternative... Maybe the Clarins gentle exfoliator brightening toner? Or?
DeleteThank you thank you thank you (kisses your feet) lol :)
Wow, well done you xx

aahhh, Caroline you are the best!
ReplyDeletealso it's great that sometimes people really do listen to the wishes of us consumers, yesss!
sadly international delivery is 15pounds.. I think I'm gonna cry :(
ReplyDeleteHi Caroline! that's fab news! I read your blog in from the start last weekend! Would P50 be ok to use on dry but oily t-zone with blocked pores and eczema? Thank you! x
ReplyDeleteYes get the sensitised version.
DeleteThank you for the quick reply! Love that you so helpful :) x
DeleteHi Caroline! That's fab news! I read your blog from the start last weekend :) So informative! Could you please tell me if p50 is ok for dry but oily nose and prone to eczema skin? Thank you! x
ReplyDeleteAre you using the newly formulated version - without the phenol? Is it still as effective? (love you blog, btw!)
ReplyDeleteI'm using without the phenol. Yes still bloody good - the phenol just gives you that buzz! ;)
DeleteAre you still using the newly formulated version - without phenol? If so, do you still prefer the original version?
ReplyDeletedo you know if they will be stocking the original 1970 one or the new version with no phenol? because the new version made me break out so badly!
ReplyDeleteThe phenol is banned by the EU (bastards) so only available in the US. How. Rude!
DeleteHi Caroline. Do you still recommend using the new P50 or should we just stick with the pixie product?
ReplyDeleteThanks!
This is still the Rolls Royce of exfoliating toners. Pixi was always recommended as a backup/cheaper version.
DeleteThis is music to my pores. I'm running seriously low on p50 and was about to start rationing it once a day.
ReplyDeleteThank you Caroline, now can you please lean on someone to being Kate Somerville back to the UK.......cheers.
I'm on it! :)
DeleteI hope they are stocking loads , with all us followers of you Caroline it will be sold out in half an hour ! X please tell us which one of the formulas to get ? My open pored , spot prone and wrinkled skin will be very grateful xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteThe original P50.
DeleteI hope they have loads of stock , with all us followers it will be sold out in ten mins ! Could you please tell us which formula to try ! My spot prone , wrinkly skin will be very gratful xxxxx much love to you
ReplyDeleteGo for the original P50
DeleteOh, this is exciting!! I haven't tried P50 before but having discovered your blog recently (thank God!!) it's something I'm considering trying (and all the more now it's within buying distance!). My skin is dehydrated (I'm a recent Hydraluron convert) but also congested (blackheads!) in the nose and chin region. Would P50 be worth trying to help with the congestion do you think? Many thanks!
ReplyDeleteIt's a brilliant product for everything.
DeleteHi Caroline - I tried to get an idea if I could buy some in advance as I'm abroad at the moment and have limited communications, so got in contact with their customer services through email - they had never heard of the product and even after I sent them a link to your blog asking when I can buy some on the internet and how much posting would be they still haven't heard of P50. Gutted.com
ReplyDeleteGive them time they don't get it till Friday! :) Where do you live?
DeleteI'm in Iraq at the moment - bit to far to post or pop into London lol - LOVE your blog it keeps me sane x
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited BR is in the UK...best beauty products i've ever used. The P50 is a wonderful product, i have sensitive skin, been using the P50w for 6 month, my skins transformed, i have rich girls skin. Liberty here i come Friday to stock up..
ReplyDeleteGood news, it is available on the website! I've just snapped some up. I don't think I've ever paid this much money for a 'toner' (I know it's more than just a toner) in my life. very excited about finding out what it does to my skin. I was torn between sensitive and normal, but opted for normal as I've got some pretty stubborn blackheads I'm hoping to help shift. :D
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
DeleteSame here! But as Caroline swears by it what's £49 for a 'toner' :)
DeleteLet me know how you both get on.
DeleteI think I'm a little bit in love!
DeleteI've only been using the P50 at night, applying with a slightly damp cotton pad and not removing it (the instructions on the bottle don't mention removing).
My skin is SO lovely and soft! It seems to me like the tone is more even, I find any spots I get clear up quickly (and any residule spot marks fade quickly). It appears to be clearing out the long blocked pores (blackheads) on my nose gradually too. I tried using it in the morning a couple of times, but I find it makes my face quite sticky(?), especially when I apply Hydraluron after it; hence only using at night. I might get some of the Clarins toner to use in the AM.
So far I'm very happy that I made this purchase - thanks Caroline! I'm even used to the smell now. :)
It's available to buy from liberty.co.uk now and they ship internationally (including Iraq)

Can't wait until mine arrives!!!!

You may well have answered this before so apologies. I have just nipped in to Liberty and got some but wondering how to apply. Should I use it as per a normal toner with cotton wool?
ReplyDeleteDepends on your skin type and if you've ever used acids before? Try it the first time on damp cotton wool and see how your skin feels.
DeleteIf it stings keep it damp until it doesn't sting and then move to dry cotton wool. You should be fine. And I mean good sting - not burn :)
Caroline, could I pick your brains, please? This stuff sounds so amazing that I'd like to try it, but can't figure out whether I'm mature or sensitive (insert joke here). I'm 51, and my skin is combination. It's in reasonably good condition: breakouts are very rare now, and a switch to lighter day/night creams has meant that my oily T-zone no longer feels oily most of the time. I've got some enlarged pores, though not as bad as when I was slathering on too-rich creams. I'm blonde, and tend to have a pink face most of the time. I wouldn't call my skin exceptionally sensitive, but it does go red when cold, and I've a few thread veins. Which P50 would you suggest for me, please? Thanks in advance, and thanks also for the blog, which I love reading. Alison
ReplyDeleteGo for Mature. I'm getting that one next. :)
DeleteThanks so much! Can I show it to people to prove I'm not immature? :)
DeleteHi Caroline , love your blog. I'm currently using alpha H ,is it ok to use this product along with that.or should I stop using alpha H
ReplyDeleteAlpha H is for the evenings - if you are talking about Liquid gold? And no you don't need to use with it - with Liquid Gold you apply sraight after cleanse and then leave it. :)
DeleteDear Caroline, Goodess of skincare and my absolute role model,
ReplyDeleteI recently read about the hype of chemical exfoliants and facial treatments like microdermabrassion concerninng harmful, long term effects like over-exfoliation especially.
So, how much is too much? I'm always very sceptical using an chemical exfoliator 2-3 a week as it sais on the bottle. Since it is a chemical that basically ''thinns'' out layer of skin. Are there any indicators that I'm over exfoliating?
I'd love to hear from you!!
Thanks a lot!
The only problems tend to come from chemical peels - dermatologist strength - glycolic strengthens the dermis - go by your own skin - if it reacts then ease off - if it behaves they you are fine.
DeleteHi Caroline
ReplyDeleteCould I get your opinion on the way that my skin is reacting to P50?
I'm almost 40, pale skin with mild, controlled rosacea - just mild redness on cheeks these days. I'm dehydrated and prone to breakouts on chin/around jaw, with some oiliness on the T-zone.
I bought a bottle of P50 on Fri and have been using it for three days, applying with damp cotton wool, morning and night, as directed.
There is now some redness on my cheeks, particularly lots of little red bumps down my cheekbones, but no soreness or burning.
Is this normal and should I continue with it, or should I have bought the sensitive version? I understand that it's normal to react initially, but don't want to risk a rosacea flare up as haven't had one for ages.
Thanks!
Ease off - your skin may not like the acids. Rosacea and pale I would have gone sensitive - you can still use but try it in the evenings - every other evening only and see how you go?
DeleteThank you - I'll ease off a bit!
ReplyDeleteHi Caroline, hope you can help.
ReplyDeleteI bought P50W and the instructions say to "Remove the lotion with L'Eauxygénante or with a mineral water spray". I was always under the impression that you leave this stuff on and then moisturise on top? Can you advise?
Thanks so much,
Annie
I'd be interested to know the answer to this too actually - I assumed it was used just like a toner.

ReplyDeleteHi! I have dry skin and bought the regular version of the p50 (is that ok by the way?). Stings a bit upon application, but it's not unconfortable. Skin also feels a bit warm for a while. I also bought Hydraluron, and after incorporating that in my skincare regime, my skin actually feels much drier. Do you think the combination of these are unbeneficial for my skin? I am 30 years old, live in cold Oslo, Norway and use Yonka skincare mostly.
Thank you for you helpful advice:-)
I'm curious, has anyone received their order from Liberty yet? No sign of mine eleven days after it was supposedly dispatched. Customer support being as much use as a chocolate teapot so far! Don't they understand my skin NEEDS P50?!
ReplyDeleteI ordered on the Friday they become available and had it by the Wednesday and that was standard delivery! Do they not have tracking available through the delivery company!? x
DeleteSomething has obviously gone awry with my order. Customer services seem to have no idea where it is, dispatched or otherwise. I ordered mine on the Friday too. However they have been kind enough to refund my delivery charge, so it's not all bad (providing it does eventually turn up!).
DeleteNothing worse then ordering something online you really want to try out and waiting aaagggees for it! But it's worth the wait I've only been using it for a few days (had to wait for a skin irritation to calm down!) and my skin feels totally different already! :)
ReplyDeleteOn a different note I think it would great if there was a forum-esque part on this site for all us nosey/talkative/stalker of carolines every skin care move people to a chit chat on how they are finding producs etc
xx
