I read your blog religiously and have invested in so many products that you recommend. Thank you!!
On the topic of 'how to use...', I have a question about Eysilix. How much should I be using and how do I apply? I currently dab a teeny-tiny amount just on the orbital bone under the eye. After cleansing (with EH balm) I use P50 all over except near eyes, then serum all over except near eyes, then Eysilix on orbital bone under eyes, then Kate Somerville eye cream to orbital bone, then tinted moisturiser all over (including eyes).
Would be very grateful to know if I'm doing it right! I've just hit 40 and am feeling the fine lines around the eyes.
Hi Caroline, after reading your blog I really want to give pepta bright a try, do you know where I can get it shipped internationally? I live in Hong Kong... xxxx
Hi Caroline...quick Q. Started using effeclar duo and after 1 week of it clearing up some bumps BOOM skin was red and bumpy galore, lots of tiny whiteheads as well. I believe this may have been "purging"?? Stopped using it for a week or so. Should I carry on using or stop? Worried that there may be more purging...Thanks!
Grain of rice on ring finger for both eyes. Serum - one/two pumps depending on size of face/neck. Moisturiser - 20p coin size - and reapply with a 5p coin size if it absorbs immediately.
I appreciate usage and amount advice, too. But, what I would love to know more is how to get Indeed's products in the US. I emailed them but never got a response. :-)
Where would effaclar duo fit into this? And where would ferulic acid serum fit into this also? Thanks for all your help Caroline, looking forward to meeting you on the 12th at liberty!
Sorry if I wasn't clear - moisturiser IS your last step. :) Pepta hits the skin first, then Ferulic, then Effaclar/Moist - I would test it though - your skin may not like Ferulic and Pepta together. Alternate and see how you go.
Also Caroline; is it okay if I use p50 once a day? If so, should i do it once in the morning or once at night? I find it really strong, I should have got the sensitive version in hindsight but have already started using this one.
Hi Caroline, I'm having trouble getting P50 in Australia. I already have Alpha H liquid gold but don't want to over use it as my skin hurts if I use it too much. Much love from Oz love your website muchly, have back read all of it !! Cheers
Hey Caroline. I just started using this today and I'm still getting used to it. I was just wondering how it would work with a night oil. Two days a week I use the clarins lotus oil at night. I usually just use my p50 and then apply it and I was just wondering if I can add this or any other creams or serums or if I have to just use it alone. Thanks for your help!
One more question from an avid reader in the US (I was lucky enough to have a stop over in Heathrow & emptied out Boots in T3 of this product as well as Hydraluron & Berocca...) - retinol? I use one from Avene, do I apply before or after Pepta? Thanks for the fab blog & always honest advice!
Ahh you're amazing. Thank you xx

Cleanse/P50/Eye Cream all over/serum on top/moisturiser. I use all products on the orbital bone and eyelid.
DeleteThanks Caroline! So, are you counting Eysilix as serum there? (Sorry if that's a stupid question!)
DeleteHi Caroline, after reading your blog I really want to give pepta bright a try, do you know where I can get it shipped internationally? I live in Hong Kong... xxxx
ReplyDeleteI don't I'm sorry! I've asked their PR to try and find out.

ReplyDeletePurging is a myth. No skin 'purges' due to product use. If you are reacting - you are reacting - stop using it. :)
DeleteI stopped using and skin has cleared up, thank you :) x
DeleteHi Caroline, could you also add how much of each product one should typically use? I never know if I'm using too much/little. Thanks

lol I was going to ask you this very question...I have recently gotten into Argan Oil as my night time moisturiser...any thoughts on this?
ReplyDeleteI'm kind of over it to be honest. Its a great oil but its been done to death. I tend to lean towards rosehip myself.
DeleteI appreciate usage and amount advice, too. But, what I would love to know more is how to get Indeed's products in the US. I emailed them but never got a response. :-)
ReplyDeleteSee comment above for usage. As for Indeed Labs - I don't know - I'm sorry!

Both would go on top of this.
DeleteI always thought moisturiser is the last step? Surely effaced and my serum would be less absorbed this way?

DeleteThank you so much! I am loving the ferulic and cannot possibly let it go, so will have to wait to try the pepta.
DeleteSo cleanse/tone/ferulic/effaclar/hydraluron/moisturize :)
